Erika Takada is Executive Director of the Public Health Institute’s Center for Wellness and Nutrition. In her second year on the MPBT board, she is passionate about the performing arts and holds a special place in her heart for the Nutcracker. As a young violinist she had the opportunity to perform the Nutcracker Suite in an orchestra! She is the mother of two kids who attend the Stevenson School and Monterey High MAOS, and love to dance and play music. She enjoys volunteering her time to create safe, inclusive, and joyful communities for children and their families. Erika also serves on the Executive Board of the Monterey High School PTSA. Erika resides with her family in Pebble Beach.
