Fostering the passion and development of local youth through the performing arts, where talents and life skills may grow in an inspiring and nurturing environment.
Our Outreach
MPBT is dedicated to nurturing young artists and making the performing arts accessible to all. We provide dancers with the rare opportunity to train and perform in a professional environment, while also introducing them to the behind-the-scenes world of theatre production through work with costumes, props, and staging.
A core part of our mission is outreach. We partner with schools, youth programs, and community organizations to bring dance education, mentorship, and performances to children who may not otherwise have access. Through these efforts, we inspire creativity, foster teamwork, and strengthen appreciation for the arts across Monterey County and beyond.
Our dancers also share their talents by performing at local schools, senior living communities, and civic events. These performances bring joy to diverse audiences and create meaningful connections between generations.
In addition, MPBT offers financial aid opportunities to ensure that participation in our programs is never limited by circumstance. We are committed to supporting the emotional, physical, and artistic growth of all children, and to being a beacon of stability and inspiration for families in our community.
