Emory - Mouse Queen - Dancer Spotlight

Emory, 15, Mouse Queen; 10th grade, Stevenson School

This will be my 4th year in the Nutcracker, and I am especially looking forward to being in fight scene with all of my friends, as well as having my first partnering role!

My favorite Nutcracker memories are all of the fun dress rehearsals because everybody is so excited and positive. I also loved last year because I was all of the same roles with one of my best friends, and it was so fun to get excited back stage together

Nutcracker means so much to me because I get to do the thing I love surrounded by the best group of people, while also being challenged in new ways and making new memories. The MPBT community is also so strong because every age group gets to connect and dance together.
