Caitlin - MPBT Youth Ambassador

Hi my name is Caitlin. I've been dancing since I was 3 years old.  I've been doing The Nutcracker ballet for 6 years now and I really enjoy dancing. My first role was a Mini Mouse and I loved it because I got to pretend to fight. I have also been a Cherub, Angel, Child at the Party, Snowdust, Mini Soldier Doll, Mini Arabian and Candy Cane.

I like ballet because I get to dance gracefully. It also helps me with dance outside of ballet like lyrical, jazz, tap and musical theater. It's a fun way to express how you feel in a way that's not talking.  I'm hoping to get on pointe one day. 

I joined The Nutcracker because it was a new kind of ballet that I haven't tried yet. It was going to be a fun adventure for me to do and ever since I first danced on stage I have loved it!  The Nutcracker is really fun and enjoyable. The music is so happy and the plotline is really fun.

I wanted to be in the YA group because I like joining leadership of all different kinds.  I'm really hoping to become a better leader this year and want to know more people. I want to help The Nutcracker become fun for kids who are just joining.
