Brooke - MPBT Youth Ambassador

My name is Brooke, and I’ve been dancing for over 10 years. My favorite style is ballet or lyrical, but I also love exploring different forms of movement and always pushing myself creatively. I started dancing when I was 3 years old, and it’s been a huge part of who I am ever since. Over the years, I’ve trained at The Dance Center, and since 2017, I’ve been part of the MPBT Nutcracker.  Last year, I had the privilege of dancing as a lead Reed Pipe, and this coming year, I’m honored to have the opportunity to perform as Clara. 

I love dance because it keeps me working hard, focusing, and pushing myself more everyday. I also enjoy the competitive side—it keeps me motivated and always aiming to improve. Through the YA program, I hope to learn more about what goes on behind the scenes and find ways to give back to my community through something I truly love.
