Amber - Angel Queen - Dancer Spotligh

This year my role is Angel Queen, and I am so excited! I have always thought the angel scene was quite pretty, but it’s even more special now that I’m in it. This will be my sixth nutcracker, I am looking forward to making the most of the season. I am sad that this will be my last year performing in the Nutcracker, but I’m looking forward to the memories I will. 

Across all the years I’ve participated, some of my favorite memories took place across tech week. When we’re all in the theater for a week of rehearsals, everything starts to come to life. With all the props, costumes, and hairpieces, the excitement of the shows and weekend ahead starts to roll in. That is a feeling you can’t get anywhere else! MPBT is so special to me, and I wouldn’t be the same person without it. It has taught me how to grow into a better human, as well as skills that I will carry into the rest of my life.
