My most memorable Nutcracker experience would have to be my first Nutcracker performance. It was so cool to be able to experience the Nutcracker from a new perspective. I especially enjoyed being in the different scenes throughout the years. It was very exciting to get to portray different characters each year.
I am most looking forward to enjoying every bit of my last Nutcracker here at MPBT. Since this is my senior year, I want to be able to have my last nutcracker to be truly memorable. I want to practice as much as I can to be able to make this last performance my very best to end off my last year here.
My biggest advice for an upcoming young MPBT dancer is to really enjoy every minute of practice. The nutcracker season goes by so fast and I sometimes wish I savored every practice a bit more.
Nutcracker is important to me because it brings so many different people of ages and dance ability. It's so great to be able to meet new people and build stronger relationships with people I already know.
