My most memorable experience in Nutcracker was when a few other dancers and I went to local elementary schools and performed for the children. The kids were so cute and it felt nice to bring a smile to their faces.
I am very honored to have the opportunity to be Clara this year. I’m looking forward to acting out the story and really performing for the audience.
One piece of advice I would give MPBT dancers is when you’re having a bad day at dance and you don’t feel motivated to keep going remember your “why”. Ask yourself why you started dancing or why you still continue to dance.
The reason why Nutcracker is so important to me is because of the community. Everyone is so supportive and kind to each other. I’ll always cherish the friendships and memories.
