This year marks my second Nutcracker performance, and I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of it again. I absolutely adore the process of learning and collaborating with the cast and had so much fun meeting new people, and hanging out with my friends backstage. I can't wait for those experiences again this year.
To younger MPBT dancers, my advice is to try your hardest to not compare yourself to others. Dance the best you can and be proud of yourself for doing something you love. While improving your ballet technique is important, Nutcracker holds a special place in my heart because of the wonderful community it fosters, and the joy of working together to bring a magical story to life.
