Our Mission:

Fostering the passion and development of local youth through the performing arts, where talents and life skills may grow in an inspiring and nurturing environment.

Outreach:

MPBT has worked hard to fulfill its mission of reaching out to young people by giving them the rare opportunity to perform in a professional environment, learn about theatre production by assisting experts with props and costumes, as well as giving less fortunate children the chance to watch everything come together in a free performance.

As of June 2019, We are excited to partner with Community Partnership for Youth (CPY) this summer to provide dance education for youth participating in their summer program. Our instructors will teach different genres of dance to enhance arts appreciation, establish teamwork fundamentals, and build dynamic, healthy community.

MPBT participated in Rancho Cielo’s Family Fun Day in 2018 and we are excited to be joining them once again in 2019, specifically August 25, 2019!  Be sure to attend!

Also in 2018, MPBT was proud to be part of Jacob’s Heart Kidrageous Event and we are thrilled to again join them in 2019!

In 2017, MPBT children and their families briefly suspended their fundraising activities to reach out to the dance communities that suffered losses due to Hurricane Harvey.  We are proud to have partnered with The Thayer Academy of Dance providing them with the items that will get their young dancers back on the stage this season!

MPBT dancers have had the wonderful opportunity to perform for Cottages of Carmel, Carmel Hills Care Facility, Del Mesa Carmel, Carmel Rotary, Robert Downs Elementary School, Carmelo School, and Forest Grove Elementary School.
